1. Compare and contrast modern science and philosophy of science.
Modern science is the continuous development or improvement of science which startedfrom 19th century through the 20th century. Scientists like Nicolaus Copernicus, GalileoGalilei and Isaac Newton replaced paradigms made in the time of classical antiquity. Sciencegets reorganized and four main areas of change are involved: its relations to other intellectualendeavors, its method, its concepts, and the division between its different fields. However,philosophy of science talks about all the hypothesis, foundations, methods, implications ofscience, and with the use and merit of science. The central questions of this study concern whatqualifies as science, the supreme purpose of science, and the accuracy of scientific theories

2. What is scientific method? Enumerate the steps in the scientific method.
Scientific method, mathematical and experimental technique employed in the sciences. Itis a process for experimentation that is used to explore observations and answer questions.

3. What are the limitation of science?
Limitations of science are based on the fact that a hypothesis must be testable and falsifiable and that experiments and observations be repeatable.

v. Science cannot provide universal statements

4. What do you think is the role of science and technology in our society today?
Science and technology play a significant role in our society today. Humans are surrounded by science and technology. They help us in our everyday lives and makes objectives easier. For example, television and smart phones gives entertainment and can be used to disseminate information. Science also give aid to ill people. Scientists and chemists create vaccines and medicines. Science is a never-ending sequence of innovation and discovery.
