It's been a few months since we first learned about Minecraft Earth, the augmented reality version of Mojang's game that gives the real world playscape packed with your blocky creations. It promised a beta release of the game would arrive this summer and now it's here, along with a new trailer, the company claims it will be available on iOS within the next two weeks and Android following "soon afterward."
The iOS-first launch shouldn't be too surprising since we first got a glimpse of live gameplay at WWDC last month. While the new trailer offers a lot of info on how you'll play the game those interested may be interested in revisiting the Apple demo to get a experience of what it's like to share the virtual Minecraft world with their friends, which overlays the real world.
To be among the first players to gain access, you'll need sign up for the game right here (you'll require a device with at minimum iOS 10 or Android 7 to play, as per the FAQ). Access to the game is restricted as they adjust the load to the servers. However, you must be active to continue playing. game tolia If you do not play for seven consecutive days, a different player will be able to take your place. You'll require a Microsoft or Xbox Live account to register and once you've registered, there's nothing else to do except wait, and get ready to build.
