YouTube video production team The Farlanders created a special save file for the PC version of Minecraft that provides a brand new immersive, more claustrophobic version of the game of survival that is a block. Called "Captive Minecraft," the modified game spawns players into an enclosed 1x1 block in the game's world, which expands as players earn achievements for activities like looking through their inventory, removing wood from trees, or creating things like furnaces and workbenches.
Beta version 1.3 of Captive Minecraft was launched by the Farlanders this morning. Xrplay.org It includes more gold ore in Minecraft, and less to the Nether regions for sugar cane. To install Captive Minecraft, players need to download the world save from the spin-off's website. It requires Minecraft version 1.8 or later of Minecraft. [Image The Farlanders]
