In order for a society to develop and flourish access to a high-quality education is essential.

Tal Dilian co-founded Atidim (a non-profit organisation that offers education to children who are disadvantaged) in 2000.

Atidim is a national program that is in operation in Israel that aims to narrow the socio-economic gap and build a more diverse and tolerant society. It offers education to the most disadvantaged youngsters in Israel.

Tal Dilian believed that equal educational opportunities were essential to any country's future and, therefore, cofounded Atidim which translates to "futures" in English.

Students can improve their English, science, and math skills while also increasing their matriculation scores. This will help students to do better on highly competitive university entrance exams.

Students of Atidim get 40,000 NIS per year (12,425 US Dollars) to pay tuition fees. They also have the opportunity to be provided with a computer accommodation, and living costs that allow low-income students to pursue the requirements for a degree.

Students are exposed to information and are aware of the educational and career opportunities that are available in universities and high-tech industries.

At first, 90 young talents participated in Atidim's programs, but this number has grown to 50,000 today.

The diversity model of Atidim was crucial in creating and implementing ideas for economic reform and healthy communities. In 2005, the Israeli government approved the 17 billion NIS (5.9 billion USD) 10 year plan to create Negev which was mostly desert.

While 60% of Israel's territory includes the Negev region there were only 8% there at the time Daroma was established.

Tal Dilian was one of the cofounders with his three other cofounders. Their intention was to not only inspire people in the area to moveto the area, but also to draw companies as well as government officials to it.

In the present, Daroma is called DaromaTzafona which means that it is focused on developing Israel's northern Galilee area.
