Poker Rules - Omaha 8. (High Low).
This and all subsequent betting round, the action begins with a player who is still in the hand to his left of the dealer. This player can either check or bet (he can not raise as no bet has been made in the round, and he shouldn't fold because it costs him nothing at that point to stay in the hand). The game continues clockwise as in the previous round. Players can check, call, fold, or check their bets until all of them have called, checked, and each player has placed the same amount into the pot.

Omaha Hold'em is a game that is similar to Texas hold'em except that it uses five community cards. In this game each player deals with four cards and makes his best hand using two of them and three of the community cards. There are two versions of this game: Omaha Hi/Lo split and Omaha High only. Omaha Poker Hi/Lo is most popular. This variation gives the winner of the Omaha Poker Hi/Lo a share of the pot.

Stud poker is second only to the straight variant. The rule of this game is that a hand is dealt in a combination prearranged. The combination can take the form of streets round, face-down, or face-up. The seven-card stud is the most common variant. This is followed by the five card stud. Other variants include the six card stud (Mexican stud), Caribbean stud (Mississippi stud), Kentrel and Razz (among others).

The small blind costs half as much as the big blind. The limit you are playing at will affect the blind amounts. The blinds in Texas Holdem are used instead of antes. This gives the eight other players at the table the freedom to fold their cards without charge.
