Dry Brushing Your Body Brush - An Ingenious Tool for Massage Therapists
These are the steps of a lymphatic massage. Step one: Clearing the lymphatic systems. The lymphatic system is essentially a network of nodes and tubes throughout your body that transports waste products back to your bone-marrow for replenishment and use. A blockage is a medical condition that occurs when one or more of these nodes or tubes become blocked. Blockages can occur in a number of ways. Blockages can occur due to overproduction of some glands (such those in the skin), disease or overproduction fluid in the kidneys or lungs. A blockage can close off the tubes or nodes and prevent the waste products that they carry back to the bone marrow from being absorbed and replenished.

A lymphatic massage clears your lymphatic system of blocked or narrowed drain lines so the flow can continue normally. Massage stimulates lymph circulation and helps to clear the lymphatic system. When the lymph flow is normal and effective, your immune system will work better and you'll have a higher level of energy. You'll feel happier and more relaxed, as well as looking younger. Lymphatic massages stimulate lymphatic drainage and increase circulation. This allows waste products from the body to move more quickly through your lymphatic system. It also reduces swelling, making it easier for you to get rid of them.

Step two: Lymphatic drainage and skin care. The lymphatic system is cleared of any debris and blockages that might be present by this massage. Start at your feet, work your way up to your hips and then move onto your waistline and upper shoulders. Use gentle stretches to gently stretch out your lower back, buttocks, abdomen, and legs. You don't need to press too hard. Just move in a circular motion and stop when your shoulders relax.

Step Three: Upper Arm & Back Massage. This massage begins by applying massage therapy to the upper arm, using your thumb and forefinger to gently pull up the skin on the outside of your arm. As you reach towards the sky, bend your elbows slightly. Do not rub your stomach muscles, as this can cause irritation and pressure to the massage.

Step Three: Gently knead the lower back. To complete a full-body massage, the third step is to gently stretch your lower back. Move your hands forward by placing them along your lower back. Do not try to forcefully jerk your buttocks back toward your spine; just gently stretch in a circular motion. For proper stretching, you might need to gently push your body back.

Step Four: Lymphatic Nodes (and lymphatic drainage). Step 4: Lymphatic Nodes and lymphatic drainage. The best place to stimulate the lymph nodes is the one in your hand. They are more accessible and easier to control. You may also want to massage your hands with a massage oil if this does not give you a relaxing massage. Massage oil can be used to help your lymph nodes release toxins.

Step Five: Drainage Massage. Now it's time drain the system. A lymphatic drainage massage is performed by a therapist who will position themselves behind the root portion of the client's hand and start tapping the drainage system using slow, rhythmic strokes. This massage technique is the best for deep cellular cleansing.

You don't need to be a professional massage therapist to get a lymphatic massage. Understanding the concepts and techniques that underpin any lymphatic massage therapy session is all you need. You do not need to spend thousands of dollars in order to receive a lymphatic massage, nor do you need a massage therapist to perform a lymphatic movement. All you need is to be able to perform dry brushing body brush technique to properly stimulate the lymphatic system, have some basic massage therapy experience, and be able to move fluid throughout your body efficiently and easily. These are the essential skills to perform a successful lymphatic massage.
