If you attend an online seminar with video sessions that are distinctive do not watch them. Instead download the video.
This is applicable to live videos that are limited to subscribers only and have an extremely short time. This has never stopped me. Because I'm using the WiFi hotspot WiFi at my quaint motel, I'm getting intermittent and slow internet access at home. Once in a while I bring water to their office, and then snatch their password that updates every few weeks. This is a way to save money on my home internet and I don't have cable and it would cost a lot to set up. I’m renting to be able to ask my landlord. Does it really take that much effort to get your home broadband connection? I just utilize the internet connection at the motel instead. It allows me more privacy, so I don't need to add my address in my IP address for internet-related activities.

So, whenever there is an online event that is unique, such as from my investing advisor, or my school offers a guest lecture by an eminent person and well-known, it's an added bonus. My slow internet connection makes it impossible to stream video. When I download video to my computer, it takes about 2 to 3 times as long, which is why my connection is slow. It is only able to stream video smoothly and uninterrupted. So I found a way to bypass that speed limit. I just saved the online video onto my computer, so I could view it repeatedly without needing to stream it over and over again.



This is what I doing recently. I open Chrome browser. Firefox. Safari. Or any other browser with an inspect tab. Click on the right-click and then launch the page to inspect. Switch to the network tab to search for the playlist of videos. It is likely to be that has the extension m3u8 in the list of files. Sometimes, it could be a different extension. However the characters you see are visible and will be a fragment playlist for your video. The browser you use to download the files one at a moment and play them in sequence. This produces the video stream which is continuous. This is how the mpeg transportation stream works. It's quick and needs more data transfer that it has file sizes.



After that, I right-click the playlist file and copy its URL (into the clipboard) Then I go to the website to download online video. I paste video playlist URL into the input field and press submit. after a few moments I am able to see various download options, all indicating possible final file size and transfer speed. The larger the file will be more high-quality, the better. I will choose a less-quality file, even if it is slow for my Internet.
