In case you were not aware, the Windows copy command will allow you to place such fragments together and create a normal length video file. This is due to the format of video used to create the video fragments - Mpeg TS or transport stream. The format for video used in fragments is Mpeg TS. It allows new users to stream from the middle of the stream with no interruption. However, it helps browser save on transfers of data, as instead of a single hour file, it downloads 360 x 10 seconds long files. It only downloads those that you are watching, thus even if you watch only 25 seconds of the stream, the player downloads only 4-6 fragments (it gets 3-4 fragments of the current 25 seconds stretch as well as 1-2 fragments following when you keep watching the stream). This greatly reduces the total downloads needed to watch 25sec from the middle of the stream, - there is no need to download the entire 1hr of video prior to that 25sec..
