How can you keep boredom at bay when working as an underground security guard during long hours

Times are tough. I have a difficult time trying to navigate this new market of gig economy just as well as the old one. Before the pandemic I was doing extremely well. I also had a job as an assistant to the dentist. I now have to work in a nighttime security job at the nearby machine manufacturing plant. The machine is mostly automated. The workers are on call throughout the day, and I'm a member of the night team. I've got an emergency telephone number that I can dial in case there's an issue or machinery fails. Then , I contact engineers or dial outside to get more engineers. I don't do much. In reality, they aren't producing anything of value here. Night guards are really just an attendant at an electronic switchboard.

It's peaceful and quiet that I find enjoyable. It's quiet. I'm a very spooky slumberer. I frequently wake up due to too much gas release in the night. However, here I thrive. It's boring to stay up all night and experiment with new ideas to help it go by faster. For example, last 2 weeks I've been practicing the dance that I watched on Tik Tok It's not difficult, but it's a bit difficult for me to duplicate, it's developed by a girl in her early teens who was one of the famous Tik Tok sisters, so it's a bit difficult, since it's what they're famous for - the tiny complicated dances with simultaneous eye shoulders and rolls.. I don't know how to describe that stuff, I am old..

I've been trying various videos on fixing cars recently. While I don’t know what to do to apply these methods to my vehicle immediately, I do enjoy watching other people fixing their cars. DIY videos are just as informative and straightforward. That's when I realized there was a problem. I discovered that my internet would not start working within a few hours. Therefore, I was unable to perform any useful tasks or even watch videos. I was able to download Youtube videos onto my phone. Now, even though the internet speed isn't great I can stream DIY videos on my phone. It doesn't matter if stream it from a particular website or other online. If you download it at home and later watch it on your smartphone in the absence of internet or other online access. It's exactly the same as DVR for streaming online videos.

My pure joy at watching new episodes and movies directly to my laptop, is proof of the effectiveness of television. I've started taking my laptop to work because it has much bigger screen and better speakers, making it nicer to watch TV shows on there. I signed up recently for HULU. Then I've got Netflix. You can download the app, mark it as downloaded, and forget it. In a few hours, based on the length of the show as well as the quality option you choose the movie will be downloaded and accessible to watch whenever you want, without internet access. It's only 15 minutes long but allows me to watch the most recent episode that I missed while on my train ride to work.

To make my time go by faster, I can find numerous educational and entertaining materials that I can print from home. YouTube's webinars are great. However, it's tough to focus on the content when you're interrupted multiple times. You'll see what I mean. Are you aware of what I'm talking about?

My son sometimes goes working with me. On days like these, my wife works night shifts, which makes it difficult to stay at home with our children. Therefore, I take him along the intention of setting him up with my computer screens and within a few minutes, he's asleep. However, when he awakes, I give him my laptop with some of the newly downloaded music videos, and he's watching those crazy young artists do their bizarre things on the screen and he's happy. I'm happy to keep doing my thing via the phone.. This is how we can all collaborate better when we do our thing. He likes to come to my house with me. youtube converter mp4 It could be because it's late at night, which is what children want.
