My name is .I’m currently a junior in C and also a member of carmel scout troop . I’m a life scout working to complete my requirements to become an Eagle Scout. Part of those requirements is to plan and develop a service project helpful to the community.
Some Typical Eagle projects I have seen involved some construction or cleaning. Some examples are: fire pit, flag pole, information kiosk, garden, food pantry box, a bench, clean a trail, repaint a park, etc… it can be anything.
I’m pretty much open to whatever is needed. However as part of the lake Carmel community I have noticed that beach three is a popular spot for families. I’m an avid reader and I think my community would benefit to have a free little library builded which is basically a little structure, often resembling a house, that are located in front of beaches, in parks, and outside schools. The idea is to leave a book for someone else to read and take a book someone else has left.
My main interest is to help my community. Let me know what do you think of that idea or if you have anything needed
