My children and I travel with our kids. We can't always rely on Wi-Fi on top of the mountain, so we make sure to prepare at home.

Yes, it was me.. My kids have a hard time with this. They think that the WiFi on the top of the mountain is not very strong. It's just a tiny hill. But it is just above the normal network range. Therefore, my children have to go around searching for better internet options while my wife and myself set up a small camp. We're planning to stay here for a couple of days There's a small brook close by, and fresh water that we own. Yes.. My wife isn't able to camp without sufficient water. We carry our own water almost all times.
My children are now returning to social media, while I'm taking in the view. This hill is not that huge, it's just surrounded by much bigger ones. We visit this hill once in a blue moon in order to connect with mother nature. These are my most memorable trips, and I'm the only person who really enjoys them. My wife insists on this because she knows how much we love being out there, in nature. My kids are very different. Internet is usually inaccessible. So, after a number of journeys that were without internet access and our regular internet kept dropping between a few and a couple of hours We made the decision to be prepared. My wife here and I made a decision that we'd prepare for the time when our children won't be able to connect to the internet for more than 10 mins. We developed two sources of entertainment that we could access when the internet isn't working on our camping trips. One was a tablet full of music videos and current charts topping songs. Our preferred Youtube MP3 tool was able to help us extract music and convert them to MP3 files prior to downloading them to the tablet. It also supported playlists, which made it very fast, even though it sounds like it's a lot of time. In case of being bored or depressed you can listen to music, watch videos, and, lucky for all, listen to music through headphones that connect to blue tooth. It's pretty cool, isn't it? The item does not produce any sound.
The second tablet had mostly television shows and cartoons that we downloaded from Hulu or Netflix. Although the quality isn't great however, it's still something. We have several seasons of Breaking Bad and lots of cartoons like Family Guy and Disenchantment. It was entertaining and very simple. Tablet 2 was a couple of trips away from tablet one, but my kids enjoyed it so much that they started playing with it and watching shows. There were some DIY videos I put on, like building a tent, or the skinning of fresh fish. Things you don't normally do at home in the city.. A few of the videos I copied from Youtube then converted them into MP4 and then downloaded them to my tablet. It's much more convenient to have video on your tablet at all times.
These two tips keep my children entertained for the past 4 family camping excursions. Even though they don't like being outside, they know that tablet 2 will keep them busy in boring idle time. They will also be able to take it home as soon as they are finished. I have never been happier, it's really all I've ever wanted - to be with my loved ones.
