Texas Holdem Vs. Omaha
Ties can be broken depending on the rank of the participants. A tied royal flush is rare, but if it happens then the winner is determined by highest suit. The rank of suits is, from lowest to highest: clubs, diamonds, hearts, and spades. The royal flush whose highest rank is in the suit ranks wins. The highest straight or suit rank determines the winner of a straight flush. The highest hand wins four-of-a-kind, as well the full house. For a straight, the highest straight (or suit) will win. A flush tie is won by the highest card, or suit. Three of a kind, two pair, and pair ties are won by the highest set. If two people have the same winning hand, one pair will win. The winner is determined based on the highest card other then the pair.

Straight poker is a three card hands game. Draw poker uses five-card hands. After a complete hand has been dealt and players have placed their wagers, they can change their hands by discarding an unsuitable card and dealing with new hands. This variant is a great way to create new types of draw games like California lowballs, Gardena jackpots or Kansas City lowballs, Badugi, Baduci or California high/low divided, Qball, and many others.

The Dealer will then begin to deal cards clockwise around the table, beginning with the small blind. Each player will then be dealt two cards at a time, each one of which is their own card as per the above. The dealer should then be dealt the last of the cards.

After betting ceases on the flop, a fourth card is dealt face up for all players to use. A new round begins. This round of betting is known as the "turn".

The pre-flop round of gambling begins. The "showdown", where the last bet/raise on the final round of betting is called, takes place. This is when the pot is decided. Players then show their cards one-by-one. It may be the case that there is no showdown. This happens when a bet or raise is made and all active players do not call the bet. In this case, the player doing the betting or raising wins the full amount of the pot.
