A Royal Flush that includes Tan Chips
Fan Tan is also called fan-tan, is an ancient Chinese gambling game. As with other Chinese traditional games, it is divided into several sections. The player serves as the player who is the base for the game, placing bets in accordance with the layout on the fan-tan board. The first player draws seven cards, and the others roll a dice and place their card at the end of the deck. The total number of dice rolled will be the bet of the player.

If the player does not have cards, the base has to purchase more cards from the shop. They may also purchase one additional card for each row of sevens on the board and add the sevens to the chips they already have in the general area. When the last player has bought their cards, the base buys three additional cards, and the new stack becomes the one that gets being flipped. As a fan tan, the final player departs with all their chips in tact.

Each player gets three cards. The rest must purchase two. The player who has the most chips wins when all cards are bought. It is a favourite for children and is often repeated at birthday celebrations. There is often an Fan Tan board in the middle of the table with five counters around it.

Fan Tan has two decks, unlike the traditional card game. Every player is given 10 cards and three more cards added to the deck. All the cards have the same color, and it usually is an red or white set. The colors of the cards are in turn matched by five counters placed on the table.

The game is full of fans and often there is betting involved. In the normal version of the game, you bet the amount of chips you have on your hands. The fan-tan variation of the game allows you to put bets on the worth of every card in your hands, at least one. Multi-lay bets can be another option. They allow you to double the amount of your chips when the card is flipped. Other types of betting are offered in fan-tan games which include the double-shoot or blind bet wager, as well as the triple-shoot or half-shoot wager full-shoot, triple-shoot and half-shoot.

The first round is over and a second round begins. In the normal version of the game four new players are added to the table. The four players take the place of the players who were eliminated previously who failed in their attempt to win the final card in the first round. All remaining players have been relocated to their assigned positions and the following round begins. The game requires you to replace any cards that have been removed from the deck without revealing the contents. You must do this without divulging their contents as this action can result in a penalty to be paid by other players who have already disclosed their cards.

When the game has started, the dealer will shuffle his deck, and hand each player twenty-four cards. The players will then put his cash on the table. The seven players will receive seven cards from the dealer. Each participant will be asked to name their four cards to the dealer the same way he did prior to the round. Since there aren't any cards remaining in the deck, all seven that were dealt need been discarded by the player who been naming them.

After all sevens have been dealt the dealer will call the first dealer to begin the second round. The second dealer will hand out the same twenty-four cards that were dealt in the Fan Tan round to the players, however, the seven cards which were rejected are now put in their correct positions. The second dealer will announce "iryther", and the Fan Tan round will end. Then, each participant will return to their home table.
