Notes

Twenty years ago, my career with Holy Trinity School Division started in a kindergarten classroom as an Educational Assistant. Since then, I have had the privilege, in some capacity, to work in every school in Moose Jaw developing many skills, gaining a ton of knowledge, and experiencing many different situations. My roles have included: classroom Educational Assistant, Speech and Language Assistant, an Assistant in alternative education, an Assistant to professionals at the Division Office, and finally the greatest joy of my life, working at Vanier Collegiate as a Library and Information Technician. I truly believe education is lifelong (receiving my most recent diploma at age 47) but it sure is more difficult when you get older. With only a few years before I retire, I’m sure I will be experiencing more of the ups and downs that come with a career in a school, however, there is nothing better.
