My Girl Dad - Alicia Keys (Thomas J Sennett)
In the Netflix original movie My Girl Dad, Alicia Keys (Thomas J. Sennett) is an outspoken diva who stands up for what she believes in. Her dad has often argued with her about different things, but she always stands by her principles. While she may be stubborn and opinionated, her dad has to listen to her and help her resolve conflicts. Regardless, she will always be honest with you and take responsibility for her actions.
Vada

"My girl dad Vada" follows a young woman named Vada, a teen who is obsessed with death. This fascination stems from Vada's own life as a hypochondriac, a person who believes they are ill and will soon die. Despite her growing disbelief and fear, Vada perseveres and eventually learns that her father is just as much to blame as her.

After her best friend dies from an allergic reaction, Vada's parents begin a relationship with another woman, Shelley. Vada steals from her mom and falls for the handsome Mr. Bixler. However, she ends up losing her mood ring, and her boyfriend, Thomas J., is also engaged to another woman. The novella is a satire on the role of a sexy mom, and it is a delightful read.

Vada is wise beyond her years, despite her young age. She brags to her teacher, Mr. Bixler, that she spent her summer reading classic novels like War and Peace and "intellectually stimulating" books. She also refers to her best friend, Miss Vada, as an "intellectually stimulating" person. Despite her outwardly geekiness, Vada has a good heart.
Thomas J. Sennett

Thomas J. Sennett is a fictional character who dies on August 14, 1972. In this movie, he plays an unpopular undertaker named Thomas, who teases Vada. Vada becomes infatuated with Mr. Bixler, who also happens to be her dad's former employee. This causes Vada to steal money from Shelley Devoto and attend Mr. Bixler's summer writing class, but the other girls tease her.

shirts is a blow to her family, but Thomas J. is able to console her by telling her that it was not her fault. In addition to comforting Vada, he interrupts her father's bingo game with her fiancee, Shelly DeVoto. Later, when Thomas J. discovers her mood ring, he returns it to her, which makes her feel better.
Harry

In 'Harry, My Girl Dad,' Macaulay Culkin plays the best friend of Vada Sultenfuss, a sheltered 11-year-old who lives with her mortician father in a mansion. Vada's mother died shortly after giving birth to their daughter, and her father has been too busy running his business to pay attention to his daughter. Vada is fascinated by Shelley, who applied for the make-up artist job at Sultenfuss Funeral Parlor, thinking it was a hair salon. Vada, however, finds her dad too distant and is jealous of Shelly's relationship with Harry.

Vada is also concerned about her father's death, and she decides to seek help from her mother's friends. After meeting the family of Thomas J., she is enchanted by his story. As he recounts his life and a young woman, he had a son, and now, she is the mother of her son. While on a date with a woman named Shelly, Vada finds out that Mr. Bixler had a wife named Shelly.
Vada's father

When the titular character, Vada, is born, she is the only child. Her mother died in childbirth, and Vada has struggled with intense guilt ever since. Her father ignores her, assuming that she is just a normal 11-year-old. He is too busy with his new love interest to spend time with her. However, Vada isn't entirely unaware of the bleak situation she is in, and decides to sabotage the relationship with her father.

Vada is unsure of her mother's death, and she's worried that her father doesn't know much about her. Her stepmother, meanwhile, sends her to the West Coast to visit her uncle, who recently moved there. Although she is hesitant to leave home alone, she tries to find out what her mother did before she died and how she survived. Ultimately, she manages to find out what happened to her mother.
