Chapter One: Expect The Unexpected
Violet Grenadine was sitting on her couch when it happened. She just so happened to be reading. She always had her nose stuck in a book. Her dark brown hair was pulled back into a pony-tail and her green eyes stared unblinkingly at the paper in front of her. She heard her mothers footsteps, but she didn't think much of it. She turned on the TV for some background noise amidst the silence. But when her mother walked in, she grabbed the remote out of her hand, turned off the TV and turned to look at her daughter, Violet. Violet, however, was to sucked into her book to notice. "Ahem, Violet, I have good news." Violet looked up, simply just nodded and went back down to flip another page of her very interesting book. "You're going to perform at a all-summer circus camp."
If she had water, she would have spit it out right then and there.
"Mom, are you joking?" Violet asked, or at least that's what she hoped. "No, honey. You're going." Violet's book dropped out of her hands completely.
