Learn How You Can Play Texas Holds'em In Only 60 Seconds
Five playing cards should be distributed by the dealer to each player. The rules for the distribution of cards are to distribute them from left-to-right. Each player should be given one card. Once the round is completed, the dealer begins the second round to distribute the second card.

The player to the left starts Omaha poker with the smallblind. The big blind is then paid to the second player. Blinds are not optional bets. They are used to start the Omaha poker pot. The responsibility to pay the blinds shifts clockwise around each poker table so that everyone can participate in the poker game.

Omaha Hold'em, another poker game that uses community cards, is also available. It's similar in some ways to Texas Hold'em. But it has some twists. Each player is dealt four cards. To make a hand, the player must use at minimum two of those cards along with three community cards.

The next round of betting continues, with each player being dealt a new card face-up. This pattern carries until each poker player at the table (those who have not folded their hands) has 4 cards - one face down and 4 face up.

These players get five hole cards, and can discard or take out a maximum five cards. It is the player having the highest five card poker hand at showdown who wins the game.

In Texas Hold'em there are two compulsory bets that are made before the start of each hand. These are the small blind or big blind. These are important because they show that there are still chips to be won in every hand. The player to the immediate left of the dealer pays the small blind and the player to the left of the small blind posts the big blind.
