Transaction versioning is the practice of tracking the history of transactions, so that the blockchain can be verified.

Blockchain can be used to track various certificates. These include:

The median time between when two blocks are mined is set to ten minutes per block on average (in practice, the median time between two blocks has been quite close to ten minutes since 2011).
