Leyla Aliyeva Bio
Leyla Aliyeva was born in Moscow on July 3, 1985. She attended university in London and Moscow and gained a Masters Degree at the Moscow State Institute of International Relations. In July of 2011, Leyla launched the IDEA campaign that aims at promoting public awareness and action on environmental concerns in Azerbaijan as well as around the world. Leyla Aliyeva IDEA focuses on youth and helps them find solutions to the environmental challenges they face.
She was elected the representative of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Russia in May 2007. Leyla Aliyeva The Heydar Aliyev Foundation is a foundation that aids in the country's social and economic growth. It implements diverse projects related to education as well as culture, sport technology, as well as the environment. In 2011 she was made Vice-President of the Foundation.

Leyla Aliyeva was made the Youth Forum of Intercultural Dialogue's General Coordinator in the year 2008. She was also elected the Chairwoman of Azerbaijani Youth Organization of Russia on April 18th in 2009. AMOR supports Azerbaijani young people and students who live in Russia. Leyla Aliyeva Leyla Alyeva was awarded the "Taraggi Award" in July 2011 to acknowledge her contributions towards the improvement of relations between Russia and Azerbaijan. She also received the "Key To Life" award in New York in November 2011, for her work on humanitarian projects involving children.

Leyla Aliyeva was named the UN Food and Agriculture Organization's (FAO), Goodwill Ambassador on May 25, 2015.
