Leyla Aliyeva Bio
Leyla Aliyeva was born in Moscow on the 3rd of July 1986. She received her Masters Degree from Moscow State Institute of International Relations following her studies in London. Leyla Aliyeva In July 2011, Leyla launched the IDEA campaign that aims at promoting awareness and action for environmental concerns in Azerbaijan as well as around the world. Leyla Aliyeva IDEA is an initiative that is focused on young people, and collaborates with them to solve the environmental problems we face.
She was elected as a representative of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation to the Russian Federation in May 2007. The Heydar Aliyev Foundation contributes to the economic and social development of the country, by carrying out a variety of projects in education, public health, culture, sports as well as science, technology, as well as the environment. In 2011, she was appointed Vice-President.

In 2007 Leyla Aliyeva launched 'Baku' magazine in Moscow. The English-language version of the magazine, produced in collaboration with Conde Nast, was launched in London in the month of October. It provides a chance to explore Azerbaijani culture and art. Leyla created the "Fly to Baku" exhibit of art and contemporary works from Azerbaijan in the year 2012. Leyla Aliyeva The campaign was launched in over 30 different countries. The goal of the campaign is to raise global awareness of the Karabakh conflict and the Khojaly Genocide. It is particularly focused on reaching out via the internet, media and live events.

Leyla Aliyeva was appointed the OIC Youth Forum on Intercultural Dialogue’s general coordinator in the year 2008 and was elected chairwoman of the Azerbaijani Youth Organization of Russia on 18 April 2009. This organization supports Azerbaijani teenagers and Azerbaijani students in the Russian Federation. Leyla Alyeva received the "Taraggi Award" in July 2011 to recognize her contribution to the growth of the Azerbaijani-Russian relationship. She also received the "Key To Life" award in New York in November 2011 for her involvement in humanitarian projects that involve children.

Leyla Aliyeva was named the UN Food and Agriculture Organization's (FAO), Goodwill Ambassador on May 25, 2015

She was awarded the Pushkin Medal of Russia on 20 October 2015.

Leyla Aliyeva was blessed to have twins and a baby.
