I should feel awkward that I was at a fucking ball, mainly because I always skipped my high school balls and fucking stayed at home or stayed outside with some ‘friends’. I held Alexandra’s hand as the overprotective son of a bitch I was. She looked beautiful in her gown and I wondered if she nominated herself. It felt so fucking odd to come here since I was twenty one and all the kids here were around fourteen to eighteen. Usually, I thoughts proms were fucking stupid. You didn’t have alcohol like they have in real parties, you got nominated and won a crown and what the hell would you do with that? You couldn’t fucking put it on your CV and be like ‘Oh, I will be able to be a great English teacher because I won a fucking plastic crown with made-in-china diamonds crown at prom when I was eighteen’. So fucking silly. But I got to spend this night with my angel, so no worries. I had to be decent and wore a fucking suit, even though I never wore this ever. I was more of the t-shirt and ripped jeans guy. The music was loud and we were inside the P.E hall. “What do you do at a ball?” I asked. Well, I wouldn’t know, I fucking skipped them all. A sixteen year old pushed past me and I raised my eyebrows. God fucking dammit, can’t we get out of here and spend time alone? Just be romantic together without these teenagers around? But if there was one thing I would love to do, that would be slow dancing with her. Fuck yeah. Just hold her and dance around with to a soft beat.
Oh, so fucking magical. I would love that so damn much. Fuck yes.
