Youtube keeps showing ads for my son who is watching baby shark and similar videos.

This has been the same question that I've asked since the past two years since I first started gifting my baby girl the tablet that has all Youtube channels specifically designed for babies. These channels are meant to aid children develop, enhance cognitive skills and progress both mentally and socially. Yes, I can see my daughter enjoying the content. My baby isn't buying anything, so why do you promote ads, sometimes not even baby-like on my baby's Youtube channel?

First, babies don't understand commercials. This is a total cost-effective and resources, including time spent making and playing this commercial advertisement (video) for a baby.. These aren't even infants! If they don't understand the message you're trying to convey then why do those ads for their little babies? If the advertisements are shown to mothers and fathers or other baby-care providers, is that so they are able to gain? It's a bit unclear to me, and is becoming irritating.

This is also true of cat videos. My cat is a fan of these incredible cat videos. It's usually mice or birds but my cat is a sucker watching them for hours. Perhaps they are hunting. Those videos are constantly interrupted by ads. Who are they trying to convince? My cat does not consume these videos. Advertisements are not relevant to her. Maybe they think I'm watching the videos with my cat. They might be partially correct. There are times when I find myself watching cat videos that are silly while playing with my cat.

I came across a fantastic solution in the last few days. It involves downloading Youtube videos directly to my laptop or my daughter's tablet. Then, I can play them later. Are you able to see what I'm referring to? I found this site which lets me save video on my computer rather than having to access it via Youtube whenever my cat wishes to see birds. Now I double-click this mp4 file on my desktop. VLC plays it instantly and there are no ads.


This is also true for all videos for babies and channels. Simply find the videos that my daughter enjoys watching and download them to my computer and copy the videos to my table. Although it could be just a few songs, I'll copy them onto her tablet. It's far simpler to access this site using my desktop computer, and then transfer the files to wherever you want. Maybe it's because I'm old-school.

It was a fantastic way to conserve mobile data. Prior to downloading videos from Youtube I had no idea how to save my mobile data.
