The storage of online videos is not guaranteed. Websites may shut down or disappear. Here are some methods to backup your social media accounts to your own laptop.

My personal story isn't filled with any depth. I was born in the USA attended school, worked, and then got my first job online. It also contains some very difficult times when I believed that everything was over. One of those moments was when my personal computer at work went completely quiet. After some fiddling, moving my old desktop into the new one, and more fiddling around I was successful in restoring all the work on that drive. It took me three days of sweat, and some metaphorical tears... But I did learn one thing: Dropbox and personal FTP servers are a great way to backup my work every day both manually and automatically.

It's certainly not the best solution. The more data you keep on the internet, the more it costs to keep everything on the internet. It's easy and very safe. It's also very easy to download it from any internet-connected device. But what happens if you don't have access to internet? I feel very secure to have my laptop with me at all times because it serves as my last resort for backups. They are connected as RAID stacks in order to copy each other and make sure that a backup remains in case one of the HDDs fails. I only copy stuff there, mostly, so very rarely do I need to make the laptop work. This way I am hoping 2 drives won't go out at the same time..

Another day of sorrow came few years ago. https://converteyoutube.com I am careful not to lose my work. As I mentioned above, I now have multiple copies of it and can access it anywhere the internet is accessible. This was Periscope. It was a tool I frequently used a couple of years back, and during the protests in 2020, I did several live streams. But Periscope TV suddenly closed, and all videos will be gone within some weeks. What should I do? The entire video must be downloaded onto my laptop so that they can be saved offline. They are very important to me. It's the only time I've seen my friend who vanished from radars in Covid. It appears like Covid took him away.

I visit his website and can download video directly from Youtube, Instagram, Facebook as well as other sources. I am a fan of politics and underground movements, so I record a lot of live events, then save videos for the future and then publish them on my YouTube channel, and each time live is over, I back the video to my laptop. This is me. This also lets me cross-post videos to multiple platforms. This means I can not just share a YouTube video via Facebook but also upload that same video to Facebook. This is a different video. It's incredible the amount of live streams I have produced over the last eight years. I currently have 3TB. Periscope Lives will not go away.. It's helped me tremendously.

It's as easy as. The video I wish to save on Periscope or Youtube is open. I then copy the URL by using the share button. Then, I go to the website for video downloaders and copy the URL. I can then download the video onto my computer or my desktop. I can also save the video to my computer for utilize on other platforms. You can also give it to my friends. Periscope is not accessible on all sites.

If you're not aware of this, Windows can utilize the copy command to help you combine such fragments and create a normal one-long video file. The video format used for video fragments is MpegTS also called transport stream. It is a complete set of data necessary for decoding video in each of the fragments. Every stream can be initiated from the middle without interruption. It also helps save information by downloading 360 x 10 second files. It only downloads streams that you are watching. Your player will get 3-4 fragments of the 25-second stretch and 1-2 following fragments in case it continues to view the stream. This decreases the download time, as it only downloads 25 seconds after the start of the stream.
