The sheer size of the Yangtze River means it doesn't have many of the same restrictions found on European rivers, such as low bridges or significant changes in water levels that can affect itineraries. This means ships are generally larger than European river vessels and can accommodate extra amenities, such as stateroom balconies, shops, spas, gyms and/or Internet cafes. Many of our China tours include a 3 or 4 night cruise on the Yangtze.

There is no free wifi on Century Legend, but wifi can be rented on the boat with the charge of CNY 200 for 3 nights. Sometimes the Wi-Fi connection is not very good due to a poor network. Please rest assured that you will not be bothered by the noise, as the ships assign guests to cabins on the main, 3rd and 4th decks, which are well away from the engines, anchor gear and entertainment areas. The mighty Yangtze River is known as the symbolic lifeline of China.
There is air that comes out of an overhead vent, it’s neither hot nor cold, it’s just air. What they should have said was there is only bad Chinese food and that the Chinese don’t eat on the boat. We wentfor the “four dishes on one plate, with a bowl of clear Chicken broth, and a bowl of rice” option for 25 Yuan each.
