Pastor of faith, healer of the sick and writer, Chris Oyakhilome is well-known to his followers as Pastor Chris. He is also the president of LoveWorld Incorporated. Also called Christ Embassy. It is based in Lagos. His unique and inspiring telling of God's Word has inspired thousands of people across the globe.

Pastor Chris: The Man
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, born on the 7th of December 7 1963, in Edo State, Nigeria, was raised in a household of faith, surrounded by loving and devoted parents. He is the eldest of three sons who was born to Elder T.E Oyakhilome (one of the founders of Assemblies for God Church in Benin City) and Angelina. Angelina was the matriarch and imprinted her grace on her son from an early age.

The LoveWorld ministry is actively supported by all members of the family. Reverend Ken is Ken's older brother and member of Christ Embassy Central Executive Council. KattyWorghiren (KattyWorghiren) is director at the LoveWorld Music and Arts Ministry. This ministry has many gospel artists who are top-selling globally.

Pastor Chris is the father of two daughters, Carissa Sharon (Charlene) and Chris. Carissa Sharon is following in her father's footsteps of sharing God’s Word with the World. Oyakhilome Also known by CSO her name, she is an accomplished, award-winning gospel singer and is part of LoveWorld Music and Arts.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome went to Edo College and was awarded a scholarship by Bendel State University to study architecture. He is also a doctoral honorary from Benson Idahosa University in divinity. It was Ambrose Ali University when he was called by God to become a minister and servant of the Lord.

The Man of God began what would later become one of the largest churches in the world when he was still at university, with the small group of prayer known as "Youth for Christ," which eventually evolved into the most popular groups of its kind on campus. It would later serve as the basis of the future Christ Embassy and LoveWorld Incorporated with millions of followers across the world.

His charity also offers financial assistance for children in need. Pastor Chris believes in building communities by establishing COFI as well as The InnerCity Mission.
