Chris Oyakhilome Biography - The Man, The Mentor and The Chris Oyakhilome's teacher.

Pastor, faith healer and writer, Chris Oyakhilome is known to his followers as Pastor Chris. He is also the president of LoveWorld Incorporated. Also called Christ Embassy. Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was born December 7th 1963, in Edo State in Nigeria. He was raised in a faith-filled family with loving, committed parents. He is the elder of three sons who was born to elder T.E Oyakhilome (one of the founding members of the Assemblies for God Church in Benin City) and Angelina. Angelina was the matriarch and imprinted her faith in God on her son from the age of a child.

The LoveWorld ministry is a joint effort of the family. Reverend Ken is his brother. He is the beloved pastor of Christ Embassy's Houston Texas Church and a member on Christ Embassy Central Executive Council. KattyWorghiren serves as the director of the LoveWorld Music and Arts Ministry(LMAM) which is where many gospel musicians are among the top-selling artists worldwide.

Pastor Chris has two daughters: Carissa Sharon and Charlene. Carissa Sharon has chosen to follow the way of her father, preaching the Word of God to the world. Also known as CSO she is a gospel singer who has won awards and is a part of LoveWorld Music and Arts.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome started his education in Edo College. After a scholarship was granted to study the field of architecture at Bendel State University (now Ambrose Ali University) He received a BSc degree in Architecture as well as an honorary Doctor of Science. He received a call from God to be a minister and to serve the Lord.

When he was still at university, the Man of God founded what would be one of the largest churches worldwide. He began an unassuming prayer group dubbed "Youth for Christ" that would eventually become the most well-known organization of its kind on campus. This could also be the foundation for the future Christ Embassy and LoveWorld Incorporated with millions of followers around the globe.

Pastor Chris was the leader of the LoveWorld ministry to become an innovator in satellite TV and Christian production of television. LoveWorldSAT was the first Christian television station to broadcast from Africa to the rest of the world 24/7 all the time on free-to-air channels. In the present, LoveWorld television stations are available on satellite and cable networks around the world.

Christ Embassy has strong presence in Pastor Chris’s native Nigeria, South Africa and Canada. The church has two Healing Schools located in South Africa. Chris Oyakhilome These schools are where Pastor Chris hosts sessions throughout the year that enable miracles to happen.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, a fervent charity-minded person who founded the Chris Oyakhilome Foundation international (COFI) COFI, which is a non-profit not-for-profit organization with as its mission to assist those who are most vulnerable as well as communities within the most deprived countries and regions around the world.

The Man, God, has founded NGOs with the mission to offer vital services and hope. COFI is supported by five partners, each of whom are dedicated to improving living standards in remote areas.

The InnerCity Mission for Children The InnerCity Mission for Children Volunteer Medical Corps(VMC), Traga Care International Foundation [TCIFThe Traga Care International Foundation [TCIF Future Africa Leaders Foundation (FALF) and Bible For All Mission are all part of the COFI umbrella. Each of these organisations works to improve people's lives and health, well-being and overall wellbeing.

His charity also provides sustenance for children who are in need. Pastor Chris believes that strong foundations of community are fostered by COFI and The InnerCity Mission. This promotes accountability leadership and good governance. It also supports sustainable development in Africa as well as other areas of vulnerability in the world, in line to the Sustainable Development Goals.
