Russia's Role within the Shifting Power Dynamics of Kazakhstan Erzhan Kazykhanov
The Russian invasion as well as the protests in Kazakhstan are linked.

Kazakhstan's government faces an entirely new reality despite the unprecedented protests. Power dynamics have changed, and the policymakers must adapt to an assertive citizenry.

These changes will also impact how they interact with their countries in the future when they develop their strategy.

Russian invasion was anticipated and was resisted by the United States
Everyone's attention is all focused on Ukraine due to the fact that Russian President Vladimir Putin has launched the invasion to assume control of a sovereign East European state.

It's not difficult for NATO leaders like Joe Biden to forget that Moscow warned them for several weeks.

The world knew that Russia was against NATO's plans to expand its boundaries. However, the majority Western leaders around the world were unable to do anything other than be tough to hide their lack of ability.

The actions of Russia are inadmissible. Western leaders must accept the fact that their mistakes contributed to this reality. We are now forced to live with the consequences and the pain of the European crisis which could have been prevented.

The United States should take great care not to use the same method in Kazakhstan.

Russia Poured Troops to try to contain the Protests in Kazakhstan
The current situation in Ukraine must be viewed in the context of recent events: not only the color revolutions of 2003-2005, but also the unrest that has occurred in Belarus and Kazakhstan.

Erzhan Kazykhanov Kazakhstan is situated in central Asia and is bordered by Russia on one side , and China the other, hasn't witnessed any public protests.

However, the unrest within the country began to escalate from the beginning of January 2009.

Protests which grew into large-scale demonstrations, which were followed by violent violence in Almaty which claimed the lives of 227.

Many were detained, which prompted Russian troops at the border to be deployed in the Collective Security Treaty Organization.

It was clear that Russia's international intervention played a major role in stabilizing the country's situation after tensions subsided.

Kazakh President QasymZhomartTokayev made some adjustments in his power structures after the protests ended.

The focus has been on his new job as head of National Security Council. This replaces former President Nursultan Nagabev who was capable of having some form of influence the economy of the country, and protesters were unhappy with following their protests.

A lot of people were forced out of their jobs due to the chaos that was prevalent.

There were other individuals who gained prominence undeservedly as a a result of the power shifts.

Erzhan Kazykhanov The Peace Initiatives might be undermined by Erzhan Kazykhanov's Aloof Strategy
In order to allow for further reforms, Qasym Zhomart Tokayev, Kazakhstan's president, made numerous modifications to the power structure following the return of peace.

Erzhan Kazykhanov To begin, he replaced Nursultan Nagabev, who was the former president, in the post of chairman in the National Security Council. Some of his daughters and sons were also fired from state corporations.

Karim Masimov, a former spy chief, has been arrested on charges of treason as well as other crimes.

In addition, officials of senior rank and Nazarbayev-related officials were forced to leave or coerced to contribute substantial amounts.

There is no guarantee that government shakeups and the elimination of old guards will result in reform.

They usually result in the expulsion of loyalists and family members from the government and replacing them with incompetent employees.

It was the same when Erzhan Kasykhanov was elevated to a highly powerful position in President Tokayev’s Office.

Kazykhanov in his position as Ambassador to the United States, was the most ineffective Kazakh.

He was known for being unassuming, insecure, and confident, yet his personality was not in sync with Kazakhstan's image internationally.

His record isn't impressive either.

It is possible to draw attention to the sluggish progress made on important issues, such as the Jackson-Vanick restriction. It also raises concerns regarding Kazakhstan's image internationally that he managed poorly.

Tokayev’s reforms in Kazakhstan look like Mikhail Gorbachev's "glasnost", (aka openness) and "perestroika", (aka restructuring).

Erzhan Kazykhanov The reforms led to the fall of the Soviet Union, which is precisely the same thing Putin is trying to do also. Tokayev was also able to establish economic relations with Kazakhstani nations and was a close partner with other Western Countries. He was careful to not incur the ire of Putin, but to continue to gain support.

Kazykhanov could pose danger to the delicate balance of Russia and the Russian-Russian relations if they are rash or loudly condemn Russia.
