Is 2 mp3 in the cloud better than 1 mp3 stored on your laptop? Let's get into the details and find out.

My friend was talking about clouds in the 90's. He was referring to the song "fluffy clouds" by the band The Orb. The track was released in the year 1990. It has been an essential tune through the 90's and 2000's. It was used mainly in trance DJ sets by the likes of Nick Warren and Sasha back in the 90s. Later, Deep Dish and James Zabiela performed it in the 2000s. It would come back in dance music occasionally as new DJs tried to make a remix for a different EDM style. It was a joy to listen to every when I heard it, reaching out to the hearts of people in an effort to bring out the essence of house and trance music, the origins of the genre, its origins, and tradition.

Personally, I prefer listening to LPs when I have the original ones. The song is not part of my collection, and I don't know the location of it. It's an old-fashioned track, therefore I'll eventually be able to obtain it. If you wish to save the song as mp3 for your device, you can do so here. I don’t think there are any royalties on the song even after 30+ years. You can convert Youtube to MP3 with these tools for free. Copy the URL of your browser or app and paste it into the input field, and press submit to show the options for downloading videos. The mp3 converter will also be accessible. However, let's not forget about the original intention of the post. I wanted to talk about cloud storage and how you can store your music there. Or keeping it there.

Amazon and Spotify permit access to music stored in the cloud. Cloud is the app's online storage that it utilizes to play specific songs. It connects to the internet to instantly download the song to your device and plays it for. It could be beneficial or not depending on your preferences. This is a good option when your data allowance is limited on your mobile device. It is also possible to limit the actions of an app that uses Wi-Fi to just those times. But most apps can play previously streamed and downloaded audio if you listen to it again within the same time. This is the reason why there's some merit to their approach. Yet I find myself once and repeatedly asking HULU to download the TV shows I watch not because I want to own them however, but simply because I want to enjoy them uninterrupted while riding the train to work or returning home, which goes in and out of no-service areas about a dozen times during my 1hr one way journey...

It might be time to make a change in my commute and finally get a job at home. This is what Covid and the rest of the situation demand. However, I continue to go back to work, as I have to get out of this crazed house for one or two hours per day... And that;s when I am left wondering once more, is cloud better for my videos and music? Or are they more useful in the event that they're instantly available on my phone? However, the drawback is that monthly storage can be used up faster however, there's the question about how many music mp3 files my device can take in since desktops come with huge hard drives. But my Samsung Galaxy 10 is filled with my home videos. Adding another mp3 could result in one of my favorite 15 videos could be erased. But I doubt it.. Because I don't have to lose precious memories on my phone, I am able to still enjoy music and TV shows in cloud.

What do you think? Cloud? Local storage? I think time will tell that, however I would prefer to combine both.
