How do you stay occupied in the middle of long hours as a security guard in an underground facility

The times are tough. In the new gig economy is something I'm finding it difficult to navigate like I did before. I used to do well before the pandemic. But, my primary task as a dental assistant was not so difficult. That's why I took on a night-time security officer position at the local machine plant. Most of it is controlled by computers. There are workers at all times however, there are only me and 2 engineers work on the night time crew. I've got an emergency telephone number that I can dial when there's a problem or machinery fails. After that, I call engineers or the outside line to get additional engineers. I'm not doing anything. The thing is, they're not producing any valuable product, so night time guards are really just an attendant on a switchboard..

It's peaceful and I actually enjoy it. It's peaceful. I'm an extremely spooky sleeper. I frequently wake up due to too much gas release at night. Here, I'm thriving. The nights are boring and I always try different things to make my time go by faster. I've spent the last two weeks perfecting a dance that I saw on Tik Tok. It's easy, but it's hard to replicate the dance. The dance was invented by a girl who was a teenager on Tik Tok. I'm too old to understand the dance.
Recently, I've been experimenting with different car fixing videos. Although I don't know how to apply them to my vehicle right away I love watching others create their vehicles to appear invincible. Same goes for any DIY videos, - they're often informative and easy to view. Another issue was that it was that it came up. Internet wouldn't work on my phone in the end. I couldn't access any video or any other activities because, as we know, internet is essential to everything. I learned the method to download Youtube videos to my phone. Then, while internet was gone for hours, I could effortlessly watch the DIY videos from my smartphone. It makes no difference, you still watching on the phone, whether you stream it on an internet site or online, or if you download a video from home and then stream it on your smartphone when there's no internet access or wifi. It's the same as DVR for streaming online videos.
My pure joy at streaming new episodes and films directly to my laptop, is a testament to the power of television. I started bringing my laptop into work due to its larger screen and better speakers, so it's much more enjoyable to watch TV on it. I signed up with HULU and Netflix. I am now able to download their app and watch movies instead of streaming them. The show's duration and quality choices will determine the speed at which the movie will download to my device. Then it'll be available all the time even without internet access. It's only 15 minutes long but allows me to catch up with the most recent episode that I missed during my commute to work.
There are numerous informative or just fascinating resources I can get at home and take to work. It helps make my workday much more efficient. Youtube's webinars regarding self-improvement techniques are an excellent source. But, again, it can be difficult to watch a 1-hour video and stay on top of the information they're presenting. You'll see what I mean. You'll get the picture.
Sometimes I bring my young son along to work and it's during the times that my wife works her night shift too and it is impossible for us to stay at with the child. So I take him with me, put him by the screens on my computer where I can monitor my own work and in a matter of minutes, he's asleep.. If he awakes, I hand him my laptop and some of the music videos that I have just downloaded. He is happy and I'm also happy to do my own thing on my phone. It is how we all work together better by doing our own thing. He is a fan of coming to my house with me. This could be due to the fact that he stays up late and that's what kids want.
