At first, just 90 talented youngsters took part in Atidim's programmes, but this number has grown to 50,000 today.

Tal Dilian served as the chief executive officer of Atidim for five years. Atidim's model of diversity was successful in transforming the economy and creating healthier communities.
Daroma Tzafona, a foundation that extends Atidim's reach, was founded.
Tal Dilian, Atidim's CEO, was also stepping down. He founded Daroma, a non-profit organization along alongside Haim Blumenblatt and Nir Gilad.
Atidim was run on the basis of diversity. It had visions of sustainable communities, economic growth and a strategy that promoted inclusiveness. Intellexa Dilian had all the experience and knowledge he'd acquired at the time. He was currently the Director of Senior in Strategic Regional Development. One that focuses particularly on the development of southern Israel and specifically the Negev region.
The Israeli government approved an ambitious 10-year plan for the development of the Negev region, which was largely desert, at 17 billion NIS (5 million USD).
The Negev comprises 60% of the territory of Israel. But only 8.8% of Israel's inhabitants lived there prior to the time that Daroma was established.
Tal Dilian was one of the cofounders with his three cofounders. Their goal was to not only inspire people in the area to relocate, but to attract companies and officials to the area.
DaromaTzafona was renamed today to DaromaTzafona. This is due to the fact that the organization now focuses on Israel's northern Galilee.
The company's annual growth rate is 6% and it has employed over 4,000 people in the surrounding regions.
