Since you can't rely on the internet at the top of the mountain, I ensure my kids are ready when we travel with them.

Yes I did say that.. My children are terrible at thisthat they believe the WiFi on at the top of the mountain isn't that great.. It's not that big however, it's above the normal wireless network, so my children need to explore the area to find an area that is better for better internet speed while me and my wife are setting up a tiny camping site. We're planning to stay for a few days, there's a small brook nearby, fresh water even that we can use our own. Yes.. So my kids are back on their social profiles, while I'm enjoying the views.. This hill is not that large, but it's in the midst of much bigger ones. We visit this hill often in order to feel closer to mother earth. Although I do not initiate these trips, I do find them extremely enjoyable. It is my wife who insists that I go on these trips perhaps because she knows how much it means to me to be out in the wilderness. But my children, - they are a different story totally. Internet occasionally goes out of service. The interruption of streaming music can occur due to something in the clouds, or perhaps magnetic movements. It can be a hassle even for me since it can cause me to be able to hear the whole incident occur.

After a few excursions that were not connected to the internet and where our normal internet kept dropping in and out of use, we determined to prepare. My wife and I decided to be prepared for the time when our kids, our children will not have internet access for more than 10 mins. We developed two sources of entertainment we could access when the internet isn't available when we go camping. Another device was a tablet containing music videos and the most popular songs on the charts. Our most-loved Youtube software for converting mp3s helped us to extract songs and convert them to MP3 files before downloading onto the tablet. It can work with playlists, too, so it was an easy process, despite the fact that it's quite long. It is now possible to play music, or view videos when you are bored. It's great, isn't it?! It made no noise.


The second tablet was mostly cartoons, as well as TV shows that were downloaded via Hulu, Netflix and other applications. This permits offline storage, which allows you to save videos for later viewing. Although the quality may not be the highest, it's good enough to have many seasons of cartoons and shows, including Family Guy, Disenchantment, and Breaking Bad. It's a lot of fun. Additionally, it was simple. All you had to do was download the applications and then enable downloading for offline viewing. After downloading episodes make sure you mark them available for download, and then you can forget about it. Tablet 2 was just a couple of trips away from tablet 1, but my kids enjoyed it so much that they started playing with it and watching shows. I personally added a few DIY videos there like putting up the tent and skinning freshly caught fish.. Things you don't normally do at home in the city.. A few of the videos I downloaded from Youtube and converted to mp4 and downloaded to my tablet. It's more convenient to have videos on your tablet while you're working.

These two tips keep our kids engaged on four family camping trips. They even don't mind coming out, because they know tablet 2 will allow them to get through boring downtime and return it once they're ready. I've never been happier. This is all I'm looking for, being close to my loved ones.
