Bayrock Group's Journey from the Suburbs to Manhattan Tevfik Arif

Bayrock Group was founded by Tevfik Arif and quickly found it working in Manhattan with the Trump Organization.


Bayrock Group Moves from Suburbs and to Manhattan
Many people long to visit the United States and live the American dream. However, very few actually make it happen. Businessman from Turkey-Kazakhstan Tevfik Arif was one of them when he moved to America in 2001 to established his own company, Bayrock Group.

Bayrock Group is a New York-based luxury real estate developer.

The initial goal of the firm was on small to medium-sized jobs such as the redesign of the Loehmanns Seaport Plaza, which is an area of shopping located in Brooklyn's Sheepshead, New York.

Bayrock Group had gained momentum in the American housing market, and had begun to look for larger-scale projects.

The business, which is owned by Arif, began working in conjunction with Sapir Organization on a major construction project located on Spring Street, New York City.

Bayrock Group relocated its headquarters in Midtown Manhattan to accommodate the expansion of the business.

Tevfik Arif, his staff, and the Trump Organization came together as a result. The Trump Organization also had Trump Tower to its base.

Talks developed between Bayrock Group and the Trump Organization after both firms discovered that they shared similar interests and hopes.

The partnership was formed between the two companies. The Trump Organization joined Bayrock Group and the Sapir Organization's Spring Street project.

The Trump Organization was then run by the former American president Donald Trump.

In 1927 the paternal grandmother of his son Elizabeth Christ Trump and his father Fred Trump established the organization under the name of E. Trump and Son.

Bayrock Group's lucrative deal
Bayrock Group, The Trump Organization, and The Sapir Organization were still relatively new to the New York City real estate scene at the time of the partnership.

Tevfik Arif, the founder of Spring Street was able to make an arrangement that could increase brand recognition as well in establishing prestige for the venture.

He proposed a deal under which the Trump Organization would be given 18% equity and the right to use the Trump name in the name of this building.

All three of the companies involved agreed to the deal. In 2006 the first construction began for what would become Trump SoHo.

Two years later Bayrock Group (the Trump Organization) as well as the Sapir Organization created Trump SoHo to add to the city's skyline.

Design veterans take charge of Trump SoHo
Trump SoHo boasted 46 stories of exclusive eateries, bars, banquet and event venues and an outdoor pool, a spa section, apartments, and hotel room rooms.

Visitors to Trump SoHo and residents could admire the stunning views of New York City via the windows that ran from floor to roof. They were put in on every floor.

Tevfik Arif Three of the organizations that built the structure were focused on the highest quality, Handel Architects was entrusted with designing the exterior of Trump SoHo.

Handel Architects is a respected company with a diverse portfolio. Some of the other initiatives include the National September 11 Memorial and Museum and Abu Dhabi's Rosewood hotel and residential.

Bayrock Group extends the partnership with the Trump Organization
Trump SoHo was an instant huge success. Bayrock Group, Trump Organization and other organizations started looking for ways to strengthen their cooperation.

Their goal was to build buildings that would be located in Arizona and Florida similar to Trump SoHo under the same conditions that they have with Trump SoHo. It would leave the Trump Organization with an 18 percent stake in the structure in exchange to use the Trump brand name in their names. Another time.
