I am aware the fact that stray dogs can be unpredictable. This winter, I've allowed one cat to roam around my home. It was extremely cold in my area this January and February, which meant that the milk and water that I give to feral cats in my backyard would always freeze. So I decided to purchase special heating pads to place the liquids on, so that they wouldn't freeze as fast, yet it wasn't enough during the coldest of days, in the morning I'd always see milk containers with frozen tops and licked-through holes that lead to thicker, not yet frozen creamy parts that take more time and colder temperatures to fully freeze. This little female cat now is in the house every day to get drinks and food. She stays over night and is out for a walk at dawn.

Why do I want to raise her? The reason why cats are unpredictable and dangerous is the same as dogs. Although cats don't have the same dangers like dogs' teeth, claws of cats are equally risky.
