This is my story of how I saved myself from getting in trouble by bringing television with me.

We were just a few hours from home and only 2 states away. Yet we were unsure of what the next move would bring. It was just like many horror films started - driving in the dark on a winding road surrounded by thick bushes on both sides of the road, pretty very much a woodland.. It was somewhere in North Dakota, although of course, a lot of these movies begin from Maine.. The plan was to arrive at the cabin we rented in the darkness, however, a small car problems led to an hour-long delay when we realized, that this truck didn't have a tire lift jack that could effectively replace the tire. It is possible that it was stolen or neglected to be repaired by one of the previous tenants.

After a three-hour tire change, we were driving. The snow started beginning to fall and a unsettling silence was sweeping across the surrounding areas. Then it happened an avalanche of snow was pushed down a huge, tense mass of snow that slid into the road. And for the fun of it we were right situated in the middle of the swirling and moving white river. Our main concern wasn't to get stuck beneath a tree that had been completely cut off from the ground. Navigation was not totally lost and we were able to push through the snow. The moment we realized that we had been stuck in the snow for forever.

I knew the direction I was taking and had prepared three Ipads with HULU/Netflix's pre-downloaded shows. Online video downloader websites allow me to access a number of episodes of shows that I've viewed through Youtube as well as Daily Motion. These are not accessible on streaming services, and I am unable to find them. It's extremely comfortable to be able to download full-length movies from these sites and keep them stored on my device to go in such a situation - finding myself in the forest with nothing else to do but bide the time.. I was determined to not go on without watching the amazing TV shows I brought along. We would have been watching these shows if it wasn't for the fact that we were stuck. For those who wish, a hot tub is also accessible. In the bedroom suite.

The cabin is too expensive however, it was the only option we had. We were able to unwind in the bubbles despite the long drive. The 2nd Ipad was also used, and every show that were recorded there were watched. I was a TV-loving kid. Many people didn't have television as a kid or didn't want it to be an integral part of their lives as adults. I don't recommend you let your child aged five months or less in front of the television and see it develop. No. But I will say that every once in awhile, a couple hours of TV is more beneficial than spending two hours watching the baby.. You're aware of what I'm talking about.. When you get exhausted, and the cache builds up.. It is not easy to parent your child on your own. It's not easy, but it's a wise choice. You can have everything, but in moderation. TV shouldn't be your only source of entertainment. Don't allow anyone to tell you that you're not good for your baby. Youtube has hundreds of educational channels that all babies could benefit from. You can try it again, and say no If you aren't happy with it. It's not a good option to reject at the beginning.
