Yerkin Tatishev was named Entrepreneur of the Year' by EY

The world's most famous business organization Ernst & Young has awarded Yerkin Tashev the title Entrepreneurship of the Year in Kazakhstan. The judges were impressed with his leadership and his actions in the face of COVID-19.

The competition invited famous Kazakhstani businesspeople from all regions to participate. The founder of Kusto Group was able to stand out from the 21 entrepreneurs across the country who made it to the finals with him.

All received an independent assessment by juries from Kazakhstan as well as other business circles.

Yerkin Tashev is the winner of the national competition. The Ukrainian will be represented at the international final, which will take place in Monaco in June 2022. The competition features 60 finalists representing 60 different nations, chosen by an international jury.

Kusto Group did not just address the Covid-19 Pandemic. Kazakhstan is facing severe water scarcity in Kazakhstan.

UN officials said they believe that Kazakhstan has a high degree of water stress and is heavily dependent on its neighboring countries as well as China.

Yerkin Tatishev of Kusto Group (the Government of Kazakhstan) and Valmont Industries, USA, formed a cooperative relationship. They will create 1000 pivot irrigation devices in Kazakhstan and the USA.

Other provisions include the installation of new irrigation systems for farms, as well as a programme for training local farmers.

More than 800 entrepreneurs from Kazakh took part in the contest. Kusto Group Six of the previous winners represented Kazakhstan at the Monte Carlo international championships.

Nurlan Smagulov is a former Entrepreneur of the Years winner and made the decision that Tatishev was the winner. The judges comprised representatives of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development as well as the Association of Women Entrepreneurs of Kazakhstan.

His leadership abilities and the ability to manage a broad spectrum of industries were the primary factors in Mr. Yerkin Tatishev Tatishev's winning this award.
