The Movie Itself

The fairy tale Spirited Away is bright, captivating, and wonderfully animated. It will leave viewers a tad bit more intrigued and captivated by the planet around them. Hayao Miyazaki is accountable for both the writing and directing of the film Spirited Away. The movie was launched in 2001 and depicted the narrative of ChihiroOgino, a young girl of 10 years old who, upon relocating, joins the planet of Kami (spirits) of Japanese Shinto legend.

The film narrates the story of ChihiroOgino. After the witch Yubaba transforms Chihiro's parents into pigs, Chihiro seeks employment at the witch's bathhouse so that she will dsicover a way to save lots of both her parents and herself and return to the human world. Yubaba's bathhouse is where Chihiro works.



There is a picture of a Japanese girl standing with two pigs on the old movie poster, that are revealed to represent her parents throughout the film. After it premiered, it became the absolute most successful picture in the annals of Japan, with a worldwide total in excess of $352 million.

With an overall total of 30.8 billion yen, the photograph became the most-grossing film in the history of Japan, surpassing Titanic, that has been the film that had the highest-earning internationally at the time. Spirited Away was met with praise from all corners of the film community and is consistently regarded as among the greatest animated movies ever produced.
