If you are camping with your kids make sure you bring a laptop, tablet and sometimes even your smartphone full of videos

This is something I have learned through trial and error. My mom was there all week to support me and remind me to be prepared for this event and keep it in mind. My excitement for the first camping trip I took with my grandchildren, my kids was the only thing I shared with her. She was all over my preparations, offering me tips and advice in every circumstance. I don’t mind my mom's talk. But not listening to her lecture makes me uncomfortable. This was a major mistake I realized the next day...or two.

We drove out with the car, with plans to take it all to the campground. I wanted to recreate the authentic camping experience I had with my dad in days gone by, so I went for the remotest location, which was, it turned out, an area that was not service-free. The result was that our mobiles were no longer available and we were completely alone with no other campers. We're not complaining, I was expecting to have a fantastic getaway from working.. We spent three days in the wild environment, with the natural world.. In less than just 24 hours, we drove to home.

What was the next thing that happened? We didn't have Internet or bars, and we were bare of anything... My laptop was on me and it didn't make it into my bag. I had a beautiful backdrop that I could show my children. All they wanted was to check their email, check their texts and school issues, etc. I couldn't take it any longer and packed the return journey. My children were sounding exactly like pigs eating delicious food items when we left the wifi-less area. I truly love my children. However, it was quite embarrassing. They squealed and groaned as their phones began to beep to announce text messages that were coming in.


Since then, my planning and preparations have improved and I try to avoid being stuck in an area with no internet. After an extremely long boat ride to the destination, I realized myself in need of my two best buddies which included two tablets as well as a laptop. They had Hulu online video downloads at one end, Netflix movies, and shows on the opposite. The laptop also has music videos, as with some films that I have downloaded to watch later on Hulu as well as Netflix apps through the Windows app store. I've got around 600 hours of material to watch which includes the complete Will & Grace, Friends and South Park seasons and added episodes.

There are many videos that kids will like. youtube downloade I downloaded music videos from Youtube and converted them to formats like mp3 and mp4 for watching and listening. Through this web-based application I was able download videos to my laptop. After that, I could watch the videos offline using electricity (if necessary). I DVR lots of TV Shows, Movies as well as Online Lectures. These videos I save as MP4 format on my laptop. Later I just play them using VLC, KMP, or virtually any video file that supports 4K.

Another aspect I insist on is 4K. Have you ever seen? Video is crystal clear and incredible. I would highly recommend. There is great software in new TVs that can support 4K image. It processes the picture and enhances it, then enhances it. Old video footage is transformed into smooth and modern video. Girls and boys alike will enjoy it!
