Types of students loans -:
(A) Sudsidized loans
for dependent students
first year = $3500 - $5500
second year = $4500 -$6500
third year= $5500 - $7500
for independent students
first year =$3500-$9500
second year =$4500-$10500
third year =$12500 - $5500
The amount increases each year of your undergraduate education.
(B) Unsubsidized Loans
Unsubsidized Federal Loans are the second best option if you need to borrow Student Loans for your education. The main difference between Subsidized and Unsubsidized Loans is that you are responsible for the interest from the beginning.
(C) Parent PLUS LOANS
Parent PLUS Loans are also Federal Loans, and the interest rate is similar to the rate for Subsidized and Unsubsidized Loans.
1) In this loan we have to ask Deferment
2) IN this loan you have to from the begining or you can ask for deferment in which you will get a grace period of 6 months .
3) In this loan is affecting your parent's credit and financial status, not yours, and they are ultimately responsible for it because the loan you are taking is under you paents name
4) the parent plus loans are only available for those who have poor histroty of repayment records i.e., adverse credit history
and if you are not qualified to complete that process than you can place two appeals .
1) Have a consigner
2) documentation regarding extenuating circumstances
(D) Private Loans
as the name suggested private loans are non-fedreal loans that means these kinds of loans are not come under the regulararity of Federal Aid. You will typically have to start paying a Private Loan back right away, and interest rates can be extremely high through some private lenders.
