How to keep boredom away throughout the late hours of the night security guards in underground facility

It's a tough time for everyone. In the new gig economy is one that I am finding hard to navigate like I did before. I used to do extremely well prior to the pandemic, but now, in addition to my primary position as a dental assistant, i must accept a nighttime position as security guard at a nearby manufacturing plant for machines. It is mostly automated. Two engineers and myself are part of the night-crew. I have an emergency phone number that I can dial in case there's an issue or machinery stops. The next step is to call engineers or call an outside number to find more engineers. I'm not doing much. In reality, they aren't producing anything of value here. Night guard is simply an attendant on an electronic switchboard.

In all likelihood I really like it. It's quiet. I am an extremely spooky person, I wake myself up from too much of a gas release at night, but here I thrive because it's so peaceful, machines create an unforgettable white noise ambience, maybe this is what I need to try at home - proper atmosphere.. That's why I spend every night here at night, laying in bed, waiting for it to come to an end so that I can get home faster. Although nights can be boring I do my best to get them to go by faster by trying new things. I've been spending the last two week perfecting the dance I saw on Tik Tok. Although it's not difficult , it's hard for me to reproduce the dance. It was invented by a young Tik Tok girl. I don't know how to describe this stuff since I'm an old person..

I've been playing with different car-fixing videos recently. While I don't have the means to apply them directly to my car, it's entertaining to see other people's cars transform into unstoppable machines. DIY videos are usually instructive and simple to follow. Another problem occurred. My phone would eventually stop working, and I could not watch any videos or perform other activities. I discovered how to download Youtube videos onto my phone. Even though internet is slow I can stream diy videos from my smartphone. You are able to play the video on your phone regardless of whether it is streaming on Youtube or elsewhere online. If you download videos at work, you can also view it from your phone when there isn't internet access. It's as simple and easy as DVR.

In the spirit of TV and movies, I've discovered how you can download the latest episodes or movies directly to your laptop. Because my laptop has a larger screen and superior speakers, I have been bringing it to work. I just signed up for HULU. Now I'm on Netflix. You can download the app, mark it as downloading, then put it away. Within a couple of hours, based on the length of the show as well as the quality options you chose, the video will be downloaded and made available to watch whenever you want, without internet access. It will take you about 15 minutes to stream TV, but it allows you to catch up on any episode that you have missed last night.


There are many other educative or simply fascinating materials that I can grab at home in order to shorten the pace. Youtube's webinars on different strategies of self-improvement are fantastic. However, I find it hard to follow along with the ideas they present in just a few minutes. You know what I'm speaking of... You get the idea.

Sometimes , I take my little son along to work and it's during the times when my wife is working her night shift too which makes it difficult for us to stay in the home with our child. Therefore, I take him along the intention of setting him up with my computer screens and within minutes he's sleeping. When he awakes and I hand him my laptop, along with some of the newly downloaded music videos.
