How do you avoid boredom in the middle of long nights as a security officer at an underground facility

It's tough times. It is difficult for me to navigate the new world of gig economy just as much as I did in the past. I used to do very well before pandemic hit, and, in addition to my primary job as a dental assistant I have to accept a night-time security position at a local machine manufacturing plant near my home. The plant is mostly automated, workers are here during the day, and night time crew consists of me and 2 engineers. I have an emergency number I can contact in the event of any problem or if the machinery suddenly stops working. I call engineers and/or contact the outside line to get more engineers. I do nothing. They're not producing any value at all. So night guard is really a glorified switchboard attendant.

In all likelihood I really like it. It's peaceful, I'm an extremely spooky person, I am awoken by too much of a gas release in the night and here I'm thriving in the quietness and machines provide a memorable white noise, perhaps it's something I should explore at home: a more calming atmosphere.. That's why I spend every night here in a state of sleep and waiting for the time to end, so I can get home faster. I find it boring to spend the night and experiment with new ideas to make it pass faster. For instance, I have been practising this dance I watched on Tik Tok for about 2 weeks. It's not hard, however I find it difficult to do it again. The dance was developed by one of the most famous Tik Tok sisters. I'm old and don't know how I can describe this stuff.


I've been trying different car-fixing videos recently. While I don’t know what to do to apply these methods to my car immediately I do enjoy watching others repair their vehicles. DIY videos are informative and easy to follow. Then I ran into another issue. My phone would eventually stop functioning, and I could not watch any videos or perform other tasks. I discovered how to download Youtube videos onto my phone. Now, even though internet is slow I can stream diy videos from my phone. You can still watch the video on your smartphone regardless of whether it is streaming on Youtube or other on the internet. If you download videos while at work, you can also view it from your phone when there isn't internet access. It's as simple as using DVR for all your online videos and not only TV shows.

My absolute joy in downloading new episodes and movies directly onto my laptop is proof of the power of television. mp4 video downloader My laptop is much more comfortable than my desktop, and has better speakers. I signed up for HULU and Netflix. Both let you download their apps, and mark the film to download. Then, in a matter of hours depending on the length of the show is and the quality settings you have selected, the movie will be downloaded onto your device. You will then be able to stream anytime, even without internet. It's only fifteen minutes long , but it will allow me to watch the most recent episode that I missed while on my train ride to work.

You can also find other informative or interesting material at home to bring along to work. This will make the time fly by much faster. YouTube's self-improvement webinars are fantastic. But, it can be difficult to keep up with their concepts when the presentation is interrupted several times. That's what I'm talking about. You get the idea.

My son is sometimes with me to work. It is those days that my spouse works her night shift and it's impossible for us to not leave home. I take him with me and put him in front of the computer screens to monitor my stuff. In a matter of hours, he's asleep. When he awakes, I give him my laptop and a few of those freshly downloaded music videos. As the screen is filled with amazing young artists doing their bizarre things on the screen He is content, I'm happy to keep doing my own things via the phone.. Doing our own thing is how we work better together. But he seems to like being with me, perhaps because he stays all night. Isn't that what children want at times?
