How an online YouTube to MP4 converter app helped my college get its graduation certificate faster

There has been much discussion about the legality and legitimacy of downloading Youtube videos to convert to offline files that can be saved on your laptop. I have been watching the development and being accused of trespassing by some online mp3-converters for helping users across the globe. I wanted to share my own story. While I don't advocate anyone doing what I do I don't see any harm in doing it. I also see benefits of "DVRing" videos on Youtube to view later.
I am the only one to benefit. I completed my Bachelors College degree in just three years, while working two full-time jobs to support our family. I'm not talking about the awe-inspiring feat of Devry or any other highly-advertised online school. I went to my college and did not receive any special programs. I was treated as other students , and paid the same amount.
My work was mostly being seated and walking around the property checking for safety. It was true, it was a glorified security position. I enjoyed it, and it gave me lots of time. So I began bringing books to work, and I began to read school books. Amazingly, online school is open 24 hours per day. I was able to focus on my homework and submit them around 3:00 am in the morning. Afterward, I realized that the majority of lectures were available on Youtube or Vimeo. They were hidden under special titles so there was no way to access them. Only those who had access URLs knew what they contained.
When I got home from work, I copied the videos onto my laptop. Internet was occasionally slow due to the remote locations at work. In order to be able to study I needed all of the video files on my computer before I could spend my time at home. Copy the Youtube URL to your laptop memory, then navigate to the converter website, copy the URL and then wait for a few minutes. The site would then display several download options, very attractive, and sorted by size and audio , all by itself. I could then convert YouTube videos into mp3 files, or wait until I see Mp4 conversion with additional video mp4 file downloading options.

I was able to save my lectures on my laptop that allowed me to maximize my time off of the grid. Now here I am, having graduated as a Bachelor in IT typically 2 semesters faster than the rest of the students. I just hope that my next job will give me some learning time. It's extremely rewarding, and you should try it!
