How to stay current with the music of your home country , even if you've been stuck in the USA for the past 10 years

What are you doing? I am an Russki youth who arrived in America to seek a better life. In Russia I wasn't wealthy, and certainly not in the middle class. My family, and not me. Russia was a country in which young adults didn't require money until they were up. Thus, we needed to come up with new ways to earn money. There are a lot of schemes that look similar to alcoholics soliciting money from their neighbors for their shared vodka bottles. This is almost the same, we would explore ways to earn quick bucks to even go purchase an entire loaf of bread. We were always hungry.

So I finally made it to America I've been here for a while, seen most of the East Coast from Boston all the way to Miami and Key West and all the way to the middle of the states. There's nothing quite like New York City, Brooklyn, Brighton Beach. This place is a great reminder of my home. It's loud filthy, smells like Russia, and the people there are rude. I've spent quite a lot of money there, mostly in Russian cafes and restaurants, as well as in books and music stores.

I love music as well as reading books. But as it happens recently it is easy to find Russian books on Kindle. So I stopped buying books in hard copy. My wife, who is almost a hoarder isn't able to fit much within her home therefore I try to avoid buying unnecessary things. Although stacks of books looked intelligent the first few month but they grew dull and uninteresting as I realized that there was still space for other things.

Music is a different thing. I'm a fan of music as my job requires me to travel long distances so I listen to a lot. Also, as a Russian native, I've not learned to like any new music I've found in the USA.. I'm not a fanof hip hop or rap. It's all the modern music that children love to dance to. I love Russian music and the songs written in jail. They're still in demand throughout the years. Youtube has everything nowadays. And so I spend hours watching music on YouTube after returning home from work or just after work.

After a while I was able to create a lengthy playlist of over 300 songs , which I truly enjoy. This is my constant companion. I can listen to it every day and have any issues getting it used. There are 300 songs! But when I need to listen to them in my car, I don't have any Internet to use, and I need it for driving or to navigate. I make all the preparation at home. I'm in the middle of. I take a few songs to Youtube as mp3 files. Then I burn the MP3s to a CD with my computer. After that I take the disc to my car to listen. The website can print an entire Youtube playlist and convert every song into an mp3 file to save on my personal computer. You can then convert the mp3 into an audio disc. Sometimes I'll make a mistake and just make dataCD. youtube download playlist Then it's easy to transfer it to audio CD. However, when the audio is recorded, it's amazing how technology works. I don't need to be connected I don't even require gadgets to play mp3, I just insert CD into my car stereo slot and here the music of Russia is booming in the middle of Manhattan as I drive there while driving around.


It's cheap and easy to download videos from Youtube in mp3 format and you can save them on your Smartphone. A friend of mine hooked his iPhone to his car stereo, and in a matter of moments, it was playing very excellent sound quality. He also was able to stream Spotify as well as Pandora radio. It doesn't even require a lot of internet speed. I'm going to try this next.. But, I'll make sure to not utilize the wifi for free.
