Bring your laptop, tablet, or sometimes your smartphone packed with videos for camping out with your loved ones.

This is something that I have learned through trial and error. My mother was there for me all week telling me to prepare and remember that. I just shared with her my excitement about going on the first ever camping trip with my kids as well as her grandkids. And she was at my side, huffing and puffing with suggestions and advice on any situation that could arise. My mom's voice is fine for me, however listening to her lecture makes it uncomfortable. I tried to finish the job quicker than I needed to. It was a big mistake.

We left in our vehicle and planned to drive all the way to the campsite. I wanted to recreate the trip I shared with my father in the times gone by, which is why I picked the most remote location, which was, it turned out, in an area with no service. The smartphones we were using were not working which meant we were by ourselves, with no other campers. It's okay. I was hoping for an amazing time off work.. Three days in the wild, in nature.. After 24 hours of the camping adventure, we were back in the car.

What was the situation? We had no Internet or bars, we didn't have anything... I had a laptop and couple of online games. The laptop didn't make it out of my backpack. I had a great backdrop set up to show my projector which I brought with me to create large-screen effects videos. The only issue was that there wasn't Internet connection to Hulu, Netflix, or Disney+. All they wanted was to check their email, check their texts and school issues, etc. It was just too much for me and I packed up to go. My kids sound almost like little piglets eating delicious food after we came out of the wifi-less zone. youtubemp 4 Seriously, my kids are awesome. It was embarrassing. They moaned and groaned as their phones began to sound and announce the arrival of texts.

Since then, I've learned to be more prepared and attempt not to get an internet-less zone without even some roaming. However, this time when we took a long boat ride towards our destinations, there I needed my best friends from the past with me - two tablets and a laptops that were filled with Hulu offline video downloads on oneand Netflix films and shows on the second, and the laptop contains all the music songs, videos and big movies I've downloaded for later viewing using both Hulu and Netflix apps, which are available on the Windows apps store. I have about 600 hours of content to enjoy, which includes all of the South Park, Friends, and Will & Grace seasons.

There are tons of videos kids will enjoy. I downloaded music videos from Youtube and converted them into mp3 or mp4 formats to listen and watch. I discovered this app that allows me download video directly to my laptop. This allows me to play the videos offline at any time I want, provided I have electricity. I DVR a lot of TV shows, movies and simply online lectures, seminars, and anything else that's worthwhile to watch later. I save these videos in mp4 format on my laptop, later simply play them with VLC or KMP or any other software that plays videos and supports 4k.


Another thing I insist upon is 4k. You've seen it? The video is fantastic. I would definitely recommend. New TVs that allow 4k image have amazing software in the TV that process that image and enhances it. and upscales it.
