Eventual Loss

Kyome, a genius teenager with computer skills, martial arts, criminology and lots of other things. From a strangers perspective, he's a good looking, tall, happy and a clever young man. But he had a big dark side. He was bullied throughout school. It created an unfixable psychological problem in him. Mostly because he never got help from others when he was being bullied and he has never been able to fight back. He has a different sense of judgment and justice. He speaks English and Japanese. He's a successful college student. He uses his skills and mind to get what he wants. He decides to be a vigilante, his first targets were his bullies from high school. He successfully ruins their lives by publishing their personal informations online, then falsely accuse them of several criminal acts by hacking into the police database. He confronts them before doing that and beats them. After that, he wants to punish more bad people. Corrupt businessmen, politicians, government staff, criminals, et cetera.

He is later tracked down by his former best friend. Daniel, like Kyome, is also British/Japanese. He is a detective. He is also very clever and has knowledge on many things as well as criminology. He tells Kyome that he won't put him away if he stops these acts now, for old times sake. Kyome says he is not surprised by his former best friend's sudden appearance.

They knew each other since they were born. Their families were close and they grew up together.

"Now that it is decided that we're up against each other, shall we make some ground rules like giving immunity to our families?" says Kyome and Daniel agrees.

Nobue (possible alternative name)

Kyome is trying to prove to Daniel how easily people get corrupt, how they should be punished and he's starting from him by messing things up by telling him onto the police and how they made a deal. He knows Daniel will stay loyal to the pact as long as it involves his family.

Kyome does love his family but is willing to risk them to accomplish his goals. But he won't sell them out easily.

The series show how even the most lawful people get corrupt. Daniel can't catch Kyome and time to time they make pacts, for ex. Daniel giving Kyome corrupt politicians names as long as he stops killing people.

He's a little paranoid, considering what he is up against. He has a very good sight on people, most of the time he can read people from their looks like a book. It helps a lot throughout the series.

The series is full of flashbacks from Kyome's bullying memories in high school. He remembers them whenever he brings justice to a criminal. And another idea is that, the flashbacks keep progressing into new ones like just before Kyome decides to punish criminals, he sees lots of crimes, bullies when he walks outside. Or someone tries to pick a fight with him and a stranger trying to help Kyome, it shocks him because he thinks almost all people are bad and corrupt.
