Don't forget your tablet and smartphone, as well as your laptop while camping with your kids.

This is something that I have had to learn through trial and error. My mother was on my shoulder all weeklong, telling me to prepare this and keep in mind that. I only shared with her my excitement over going on the first ever camping trip with my children and her grandkids. But she was all over my preparations puffing and puffing up with tips and directions for any situation that could arise. I don’t mind my mom’s talking. However, watching her lecture makes things uncomfortable. So I tried to conclude the entire thing more quickly than I was supposed to. This was a huge error that I realized the following day...or two.

We left in the car with the intention to take it all to the campsite. I wanted to recreate the same rural experience as my father was, so I picked a remote location, which turned out to be in a large no-service zone. Our phones were out of reach, and we were the only people there, with none other campers. You can blame me, I was expecting to have a wonderful time off from work, 3 days out there in the nature and with nature.. We were back in our car on the way home 24hrs into the camping excursion..

What did you do? There was no Internet and we didn't have bars, and we had nothing... I had a laptop and some games online. The bag did not come out of my hands. I had nice backdrop prepared for the trees in order to watch little projector I brought with me for nice big-screen movies. But no Internet to connect to Hulu, no Netflix, no Disney+.. What an absolute mess.. My children were a total pain to watch. They wanted to check their emails and texts, keep on top of school things and so on. I couldn't take this anymore and we packed our bags for the return journey. My children made sounds that were almost like piglets in a pigsty eating delicious food. I love my children. However, it was embarrassing. They squealed, and moaned when their phones began to beep and signalling incoming text messages and emails.


Since then, my planning and preparations have improved , and I now try to stay out of an area with no internet. We went on a long cruise to our destination. This time, I had to have my closest companions, two tablets and a laptop. The laptop was loaded with all the music videos and songs I downloaded from Hulu, Netflix, and other apps. I've got about 600 hours of watching materials which includes the complete Will & Grace, Friends and South Park seasons and added episodes.

There are tons of videos kids will enjoy. https://anotepad.com/notes/sjf7pc6p I downloaded music videos from Youtube and converted them to mp3 or mp4 formats for watching and listening. A few of the videos I downloaded the web application it lets me get video downloaded directly to my laptop, and then I can stream it any time offline with no Internet and just provide me with some electricity, if it is required to recharge. I record a variety of TV shows as well as seminars, films, and movies online. The video files are saved as MP4 to my computer. I can then open them later using VLC or KMP.

Another thing I insist on is 4k. Have you seen? The video is incredible. I truly recommend. Televisions that support 4K image have amazing software in it that process the picture and improves it, and upscales it and makes it more appealing. The old video is converted into smooth and modern video. Everyone will be thrilled!
