The storage of online videos is not guaranteed. Websites can shut down or cease to exist. Here are some methods to back up your social video accounts on your personal laptop.

My personal story doesn't have any depth. I was born, went to university, worked, fought, and finally, achieved something online. There are also some difficult moments when I thought that all was done. One of these was when my computer at my house suddenly stopped working. Another sad day occurred a few months ago. As I mentioned above I ensure that I don't lose my work. I copy the same file multiple times and make it accessible wherever internet access is accessible. It was Periscope. It was something I often used number of years ago. And even last summer 2020 when there were protests in the city, I was able make a few live streaming. Then Periscope TV is closing down and all the videos will be gone in the next few weeks. What can I do? To save the videos that are offline on my laptop I have to download all of them. They are extremely special to me. It's the last time I've seen my friend who vanished from radars in Covid. It seems like it was a mistake.

I record a lot, save and upload them to my Youtube channel. After that, whenever the live stream is finished the footage is downloaded to my laptop. This is the way I work. Then I go to the site for downloading videos, copy the URL and hit the big button. In a matter of seconds, I have multiple choices to download the video. The stream includes all details needed to decode every fragment. They are independent of each other, allowing each newcomer to stream smoothly. The browser also allows you to save data since it only downloads documents that are relevant to what you're watching. If, for instance, you only view 25 seconds of the stream the player downloads only 3-4 fragments. In addition it will download the next couple of fragments. It helps reduce the amount of downloading required to watch the stream in just 25 seconds.
