He attended St. Stanislaus School and graduated in 1980. He attended and graduated in 1984 from Hutchinson-Central-Technical High School where he studied Electrical Engineering. After leaving the institutional business he began to focus more on private equity and early-stage venture investing as that was where the growth was existent. He enjoys many interests including cooking, gardening, winemaking, reading, golfing, sailing, skiing and traveling. He has philanthropically supported many Polish events, organizations, and individuals. He has also sponsored several cultural events and speakers. The project has been so successful that his marketing firm Dyngus Day, LLC has promoted events in Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Albany, Boston, Washington DC and New Orleans and continually generates national exposure for Buffalo and Polonia throughout the US. He spent his post-college years, upon matriculation from University of Chicago, working for some of the most active and well-known equity long/short hedge funds on Wall Street as an analyst, trader and portfolio manager focused on the healthcare, technology, media, and telecommunications sectors. He is the head of the Forensic Service sand Valuations, Information Technology, Litigation Management, and Strategic Planning Committees at Smolin Lupin. Beata Klar-Jakubowski volunteers as the president of Children’s Smile Foundation, not for profit organization which inspires Polonia to support children in need. He was a member of the school’s honor fraternity Kappa Sigma Phi. As a board member of the organization, Mr. Stanislaus, a chivalric organization comprised of Polish nobles dedicated to charitable causes, at the Vatican in Rome, Italy and awarded the Knight’s Cross.
