Young DJs should invest in quality music. MP3s with low bitrates aren't the most suitable choice.

I'm not a DJ. This is what this is my mantra. In high school and college I attempted DJing. I was unable to replicate what I saw elsewhere. To be sincere, I had neither the creativity or the sense to become DJ. My DJ career was an absolute nightmare. I would skip the beat and change to 7th instead of 8th. But I am a listener. I can clearly hear if some DJ misses a beat I am able to clearly see when they are making mistakes, but I cannot in my right mind do the things they do - entertain people for long hours..


However, I shouldn't discourage anyone trying to become DJ. My story shouldn't hinder your ambitions. Let your imagination go wild and do whatever it takes to make you happy. This is how I view people. Do what you want and be who you are. DJs are people like that, and require constant support to comprehend the reality. It is crucial to assist them comprehend what's happening within them and around their role in it. Because Youtube music cannot be converted into mp3 by new DJs, it is not just because it not permitted under their TOS, but also because of the poor audio quality. The sound quality of any music video or what ever other video, no matter how 4k or even 8k videos are, the sound is still limited to 128kbps in a m4a container, which technically can produce 160kbps MP3, or something similar to there. I hope these numbers don't confuse you. If you're a DJ or computer sound fan like me, then you'll understand that mp3 could contain as much as 325kbps of quality sound. It's fine, but it's not as good sound quality that the mp3 format which is compressed by cutting out high and low frequencies. This results in a sound that isn't quite fully. The deepest house music does not sound as deep when it is played at 320kbps in MP3 format. If you compare it to playing it from the vynil format - then the depth of sound is what knocks crystal glasses off of the table.

New DJs should not spend time (and maybe even cash) in low-quality versions of songs that are popular. Beatport and Juno Download are good places to begin. They are full of fantastic, solid high-quality, high-quality audio. These sounds are great for remixes and mix-ups. This can give you an amazing, rich bass sound even with a poor quality file. This is something that the sound of mp3s can be a bit lacking the amazing bass.

It is essential to invest in the equipment you use to produce the highest quality sounds, the best mood for dancing at clubs, and the best times possible for club members.
