Youtube constantly shows advertisements to my kids who watch videos about babies, such as baby sharks, and other channels.

Since I gave my baby daughter her tablet and I've been asking this question for 2 months. They are supposed to help babies develop, improve cognitive skills and progress both mentally and socially. It is true that I can notice my daughter is enjoying the content, she just is watching it with eyes sparkling, laughter waiting to be released from her lips. I am enthralled watching her get amused. I'm not sure why you have to include commercial breaks. My child is not an ad-buyer therefore why are you pushing advertisements, which are sometimes not baby-like, on my baby's YouTube channel?

First of all, babies cannot understand commercials. It's both a waste of money as well as a waste of time. The commercial (video) is only one example of a waste. They're not babies. It's not possible to claim that they are able to comprehend therefore why insist on showing them those ads? Do you mean that the ads will only be shown in case the father or mother or other baby care professionals are watching? It is getting annoying.

Similar to cat-related videos.. I recently discovered that my cat likes to watch these stunning videos for cats. It's usually mice or birds but my cat loves to watch them for long periods of time. It's like hunting, I think. Each time, these videos are interrupted by advertisements. Who is it they are trying to reach? My cat is not an avid consumer of anything other than those videos. Ads are irrelevant to her. Perhaps they're hoping that I am watching those videos together with my cat? Although they may be partly correct, I find that I watch those videos with my cat more often than I do anything useful.

I have found a wonderful solution that I've been using lately. It's basically downloading Youtube videos to my computer, or to my daughter's tablet, and then playing them on the tablet. Can you see what I'm referring to? youtube converter mp3 This site lets me save videos to my computer, instead of making it available on Youtube each time my cat watch birdies. Now, I double-click this MP4 file to my desktop. It then plays in VLC immediately, without commercials and is directly keeping my cat entertained.

It works the same way for videos for babies. My daughter loves to watch videos on Youtube. I save them to my desktop, and then transfer them to her tablet. In some cases, if it's only a few songs, I only do it using her tablet, however, it's easier to access this website on a desktop computer and then copy video files to where you want to put them. It's simpler to manage these things using a mouse. Perhaps it's my fault being the old-fashioned person that I am...


This is a fantastic method to save mobile data. Before downloading videos from Youtube became a reality I needed to keep my tablet connected to the internet via hotspot on my phone or sometimes I'd even get an exclusive data plan for my tablet itself, when we went on an excursion.. Data can be very expensive when you are roaming it... And so my data usage dropped by 3-4 times. Now we actually started rolling over a little data to the next month, which was an absolute surprise to us. Normally, we'd be charged for exceeding our monthly allowance 2-3 times.. This is why I suggest to all young parents and cat owners who love their pets to download your video clips from Youtube and other sites to your device, then save them to MP4 format, and then enjoy them at any time without any additional data usage.

I hope you liked my advice and tricks to create an efficient household that is data-rich. I know this sounds ridiculous.
