The long trip to home for Thanksgiving is always informative. I always bring my lectures with me.
This is what's been going on in my world lately. I'm in college, it's online but I am picking up many valuable skills to prepare for my dream job that is a Youtube famous or Instagram influencer. Even though you're probably amused, I've begun this journey already and am following nearly 1800 people. While it's not a lot, thanks to a lot of positive thinking and exclusive content with great ideas, I can become the next celebrity. It's not a lot of work to achieve that, as Nas once said. I've always admired Nas' comments.

The long drive home for the holidays was going to be as boring just as any other trip that is long and tedious. Being heavy, I am not happy to be trapped in a small bus seat. This time, I decided to beat boredom. It's true! Two classes at my college contain a large number of lectures. They are hosted on their servers, however they are they are also available uploaded to Youtube. Youtube offers several high-quality options. This has been useful for my teachers. I have copied their lectures onto Youtube.


While I am preparing for an 8-hour bus ride I consider the things I want to do, how I can have fun, and maybe even some brain work. I did manage to look through the video clips from the next three lectures. They had almost 7 hours of audio. I required to download the lecture to my iPad. I simply listened to the lecture as I rode the bus home from Thanksgiving. And thankfully Youtube mp3 converter allowed me to do exactly that.. The first step was to convert Youtube video to mp3 file and downloaded it to my phone , to be sure that my iPad wasn't likely to die prematurely, too young. Because I have very limited space on my phone, I only did audio. Audio lectures are similar to podcasts, however they are written as if the audience were aged between 2 and 3 years old. This makes it easy to understand , even for those who aren't listening or watching. And so I did with the videos, converted the audio files to mp3 and then set my headphones.. I don't have the expensive new Airpods which is why I am still using my basic headphones.

To save time, I saved YouTube videos as mp4 files on my iPad. Of course video is cool, you get to be able to see how the teacher is working and what's happening, but it's not the podcast. Although mp3s have a much smaller file size than video MP4, I could not fit all the video onto my iPad. Additionally I didn't want to remove Family Guy (also downloaded via Hulu) for the trip.

I was grateful that I had brought the lectures in video and audio. My iPad was stolen in about two hours. After that my phone began to work. I was just listening to the audio and not looking at it, so it was able to continue all the way to my destination. It was easy to revisit my knowledge I learned during my travels and then surprise my instructor by sharing my knowledge with class. It's amazing how technology can assist in making studying easier.
